Today’s USA Today reports that prices on rooftop solar systems have been falling, with more price decreases expected. More good news for solar power was reported in the business section of The New York Times today (the required registration is free). California is planning to build two large solar plants. The combined output of these plants will total more than twelve times the electricity production of the world’s largest solar power plant and more than fifty-seven times the electricity of the largest solar installation currently in the U.S. Read more
Solar Power for More Businesses

What a great way to start the week! I logged onto The New York Times this morning and immediately saw an article about retailers installing solar panels on their stores. (Registration is free but required.)
It is really exciting to see alternative energy becoming part of so many conversations. I’m also hopeful that these large investments by corporations will lead to less expensive solar options for individuals.
