Another Perspective on Gas Prices
August 22, 2008 by Steph
I really enjoy reading about the steps other families are taking to improve their lives. I always come away with good ideas and the wonderful sense that people everywhere are doing good things. Today I came upon an article on Newsweek.com discussing how high gas prices led to positive change for one family. This article not only mentions several suggestions for reducing gas consumption but also discusses the benefits of not driving as much.
After reading months of doom and gloom coverage about gas prices, I appreciated a fresh look at this issue. I especially love that the author asked her children to join in the challenge of making a tank of gas last as long as possible. What a great idea – our girls will love it! What idea are you going to try?
